Archer SB 20 made in 2002 I think ? bought from Interstste music Oct. 2003. I think it was a left over from a year back.its a P bass copy. with rosewood fretboard, black finish, light finish neck, split single coil hum cancil pickup. Light whate body. Its the last year Archer made in Koria. Pasive pickup, Standard P Bass neck, 4 strings.Standard vol. and tone control,This is a Precision copy, it has the nurled vol. and tone control nobs like the origanl feder P bass.and the exposed gear tuing keys like the fender.

I like the sound It sounds alot like my frinds Jim Powalisz .Rick 4001, Raspey with the standart strings that came with it. String where round wound. The sounds are very trebley but not so much that when you turn doun the tone nob you can get very bass sounds and the vol. and tone pots are nose free, I play it with vol. at full and tone full and adjust tone to the type of music i play.I play all kinds of music from soul to Yes to Out Kast but I do Love my blues and Surf music. Im 48 years old so I love all types of music Country also. The hum canceling pickups work great. this bass can be ajusted via, tone control for all types of music. I use it with a Accoustic 140 bass head and a Fender 410 bxr bottomand now i just bought a Beringer bass V amp and beleve me the tones are endless with the Bass Vamp. As for the likes and dislikes I will explan in the next section. As for all in all its a good bass for the price as far as tone goes a verry fender sounding bass and that is all a copy bass is sapose to do RIGHT ?

How well the bass was set up ? This is whare the normal bass player would pick up a bass from the music stoe and judge the bass action Right ? Thay would judge from that moment on if it was a pice of S,,,t or not Right? Well years ago Music stores wold have a guitar setup person that was ussaley the depatment head also the sales person and thay would not even put a guitar onn display without it being setup. That was in the 60s o well. Thare are still alot of music stores out thare that will set the guitars up but you have to aproch them and ask if thay will. Now adays with these $150 to I have even played $400 epiphones that werent even set up, just not at interstate music in NewBerlin , wisconsin .USA but all over. THE CHEPER GUITARS thay dont spend time to set up because thair is less profit in it RIGHT? My Bro Phill Henzig bought guitarsback in the 60s at the same place Casiosback in the 60s and he just bought a $160 Squire afenity P bass thair that was perfickley setup from the factory
Anyway back in the 60s thay use to trade the gibsons in when the pots where noise and the finshes would blend into each other on a gibson es 330 thay are all worht big bucks now. O WELL. that being said. The action on the sb20 sucked. My brother taught me a good leson See I bought a Epiphone EBO the same day and the next week i took it over to his house And he adjusted the action for me, He said that even in the 60s the guitat players did this . Action bad with a 2 pice guitar if it is alot take a Guitar pick break it in half and unbold the neck ,lossen string alot before insert the pick at base of neck in the midle, bolt it back on and By gog the EBO had great action , I did the same thing with the Archer and the action was neer perfet like my buds rick 4001 , I just had to adjust the hight of the A and D hight bridge ajustment higher and WOW I had a low action Archer P bass that the action was as great as it sounded for that price of bass and even better! One thing tho I fist tried a hevey Fender Pick and the uper freat hit than I went to a Medium Fender pick and That was the right Hight. and Now I have a great sounding and plaing p bass clone at $45.00 . Every October Thay clerince out older modals and recent guitars to prefers customers or past customers for verry cheep prices, I got the Cherry red EBO for $80.00 both where made in Koria and the Archer and Epiphone 2003 or 2004 are made in China now.

The onley thig I have to say here is the newer finishes are made of difernt paite types . My Bro told me that the older 50s and 60 fin. where of a diferent type , I cant remember wht type he told me but that is why the fin. blended and cracked but guitars are made now of a better pait prosses than back than. the strape buttons seem solid for the limited time iv had this bass. I just Jam with bro and frineds. Time will tell how reliable this bass is

Ive Delt with Casio Interstate Music
for 40 years No Problems. The onley reason I did not ask them to adjust tHe Archer SB20 bass and The Epiphone EBO Bass is because my boy and i have to play them and carry them with us because if we let them doun thay would be taken by other customers , we also had Archer AD 20 12 sting acustic that we bought to. Last year sale in October The Boy and I Brett Henzig picked out 2 Epiphones EJ 200 at $45.00 a piece and 2 Alvarez AC 40 c electric acusic Clasical guitars at the same price at $45.00 a piece and I had to set one of the Epi. EJ 200 doun to try the the 2nd Alvarez and one minate later some guy came by and took the secound Epi. Ej 2oo and bought it . Well we got 3 guitars anyway but it was hard to live with for a while till I found a Epi Cherry Dove Electric for $114.00 months latter

Ive been playing 6 sting guitar for 40 years and Bass for 30 years. I own also A Fender Hot Rod delux amp and 9 Dano mini pedals And a Tomas organ Wow Wow. As for if thair is some thing I wish I woud have asked before buying If you take time to ask about the itom you are thinking about buying , some one elce has bought it! Casio interstate music has been around for a long time and thay where where Casio Music in the the 60s when my bro and i first took leesons thare. So in Outober of every year trowerd the end of the month GET THAIR. GREET DELES, But dont think to hard or it will be gone. The only Interments I like to get yet is a Dano Longhorn bass and a 51 Fender P bass new one and a 52 Fender Teli. Also I forgot I have a 2000 Mex stanard Strat sunburst with a maple neck.

It sounds pretty quiet. Perfect when i am scoping out the trophy buck and don't want to scare it off.

Like I said, the strings have great action for shooting arrows fast. Also, you have 4 strings, so if you break one while shooting it, you can quickly recover with one of the 3 other backup strings.

It has great reliability. I even used it for a paddle when I go accross a creek in a canoe. And guess what? BAM! It is ready to be used as an outstanding bow right after the journey on the creek! Wow...

I can't really help you with this one. They kept calling me a musician when I called in, ad they thought I was psycho.

I've been hunting for 15 years, and this is by far the best weapon I've ever used. I even strangled a bear with one of the strings.. Cool, dude! Also, I knock over brush with the body of the bow... huh... what was that? This is a bass guitar? Well, if it is a bass guitar, I guess you can say it is a piece of crap.... great for hunting, though!!! :)
