I bought this used from local music shop, it cost 370?. It?s made in Korea but for its price it?s great bass. 24 frets, 4 strings, controls: volume for split pickup, volume for bridge jazz pickup and tone. Passive electronics, color: black, bodystyle: heavy precision, neck/scale: rosewood

I play mostly rock and funk and this bass is a rock bass and I use it thru my Behringer BX-1200. The bridge pickup is noisy but it?s not a problem if you?re not in studio. On gigs it might be a problem if you want to play something peaceful and beautiful. The variety of the sound of the bass is good, from dark and warm to bright and dry. It stays tuned very well and with little adjusting the octaves are octaves. :P

I?ve been playing for 4,5 years and I?ve tested many expensive basses but I like the way AP II fits to my playing position. I can play relaxed and my arms are in natural position. If this were stolen, I would save money and buy Music Man Sterling w/ piezo, colour: black cherry burst. But that is just now I?m much better bass player than 4,5 years ago. I wish it had better pickups but you can?t get everything by once. Great bass for beginners and intermediate players, I would compare this to Yamaha RBX 270 which is great beginning bass also.
