late seventies p-bass copy called the "professional bass". made in japan. paid $170.00 on e-bay for it, with the original hardshell case. maple neck, fretboard, and body (which has some flame on it). split p-bass pickup with volume and tone controls. natural finish with chrome hardware. this bass is rock-solid, and can easily compare wth any fender p-bass of the same era. solid maple body, massive neck and tuning keys, and vintage shell pickguard.

best playing bass i've played in years. just feels right. and sounds great acoustically. i don't think my bass had been played for quite a while and it only needed a slight saddle adjustment. the neck was straight and the frets were perfect.

this bass was made in japan about thirty years ago, i don't think customer service is an issue anymore.

i've been playing bass since 1981. have owned fenders, gibson, kubicki, ibanez, b.c. rich custom, alembic, etc... have played professionaly. i would put this bass up against any seventies fender p-bass out there.
