Don't know what year, but its a "made in Korea" - bought it in 1996 as my first bass, served me well for a good number of years... is sunburst brown/orange; JP split pickups, 3 knobs (vol, blend and tone maybe?) Basic features, but what else do you really need right? (Cmon, Flea's modulus only has 3 knobs... and Mark Hoppus's P only has 2 :P)

Sound is a little average... I was a pianist who became a guitarist who became a bassist (almost like a de-evolution right) I use this through either my a Trace Elliot 200watter or an aussie made Eminar head pumped into 2 mesa cabs... Unfortunately the sound is quite bland, no deep lows, no sweet highs, just... average... Electronics seem quite clean though, no hums, although i did have to get the plug replaced. I dont personally care much for the pups in this thing, they are major cheapo... was going to replace them with some barts but decided against it because of (read next section).
You can slap on this thing quite easy, string spacings not bad and the neck is thin, however its not my choice...

Action is actually quite low and fast; neck is quite thin which isnt really my thing (I use a G&L L2500 as my main, and a new Stingray 4 as my 4, so im used to thicker necks)- factory setup was fine, got the truss adjusted, but... hey... i dont like this neck. Even if i changed the pups to get a better sound, i still dont like the neck... was a good beginners bass, but you will move away from this eventually.

Passive bass, no battery to worry about, have used it live and its fine, i would trust it for live use... it seems quite solid, 4 bolt on neck, so i cant seem to find any faults with the reliability.

I've been playing for 9 years now, with 3 years of guitar before that and 9 years of piano before that... as a musician starting off on bass this wasnt a bad choice, not too pricey and thing neck, good string spacing...
If it were stolen, well, doesnt matter cos i dont use it anymore... ive played other P basses (fender P is nice) and i like a more solid neck; this is sturdy enough but too thin and non sustaining for my liking.

i got this as my first bass about 4 years ago and back then i didnt even think of how the bass sounded the main thing was that it played . now having used this constantly for 4 years i have learned that the pickups dont have no definition and are quite muddy but this might be due to the neck aswell will tell later. anyway i run this bass through a 300w behringer bxt3000 head and two skyway 300watt 15 inch speakers it sound okay through that but have to crank up the treble to get anywhere of a clarity on the notes

this is where is $%^&$ all over itself in the neck! the neck is made out of softer wood than balsawood and tus bad string tension lost clarity in notes and bad playabitlty and the truss rod isnt effective on theneck one bit constant bow
it was a used bass and pretty beat up in the process. the shop where i got it from said they repaired a broken pot but done %$#@ all! and alot of hassle over that aswell spent 3 weeks getting supposedly repaired all. it had alot of scratches on it and by recently hitting it hard on a wall ive found out that the body is made out of plywood!!!!! cheap to the bones!!!!!!

have had to use it without a backup but have favoured to use other peoples when possible at gigs all is solid tho never broke on stage tho when i have used it plus there and due to the neck being so bad i am just glad its playable

I dunno what year it was made in. It looks and sounds pretty old. It's got a red wine finish, black headstock with the classic Aria Pro II logo. P bass pickups and one Jazz bass Pickup. The Hardware is Gold, realy nice looking bass. 20 frets, die cast gold tuners, thats all I know, Not sure what materials its made out of.

Its got a flat sound, barely any bass. It's very noisy, and the sound is too bright. Its not got much vareitions in sound. Not good at all.

The bass feels realy good. The bridge is a bit messed up though, I have to adjust it, but it's pretty good. This bass is built well, I have thrashed this bass around, smashed and even tropped sauce all over the pick-ups, and its still sounds and feels like the day I got it. The finish is realy nice.

this bass is built to last, you can realy depend on it, if the pick-ups sounded better, this bass would be the perfect bass

I dddddon't year it was made. But i know it was made in Korea. 4 string,21 frets. Solid top. Volume controls for the split pickup and the single pickup, along with a tone control. s/s/h. Humbucking pickups. passive electronics. body is alder, the fingerboard is rosewood, the neck is maple, and thats it. Metallic finish. Precision body style. Standard above body bridge. non locking aria pro 2 tuners. Rosewood neck with about a 26-30 inch neck. no included accesories.

My style is more of a i guess a red hot chili peppers/ metallica style and it fits nicely. Aria pro 2 10 inch speaker with a dunlop wah-wah pedal a johnson chorus and an aria Pro 2 distortion. No it's not noisy. Soft but yet rigid sound very unique. It makes bass sounds ok that question made no sense. Definitly a studio guitar. Likes all but the knobs come lose so make sure you tighten them.

Very good action the fingerboard almost feels soft while playing. the pickups were just fine. I am yet to find a flaw.

i've been playing for a year and a half i own just the aria but i'm getting a five string johnson long horn 24 fret bass. I don't know what i would get either the same or a squire bass. I love the whole thing i really like this guiitar Although i will say the wires in the guitar are a tad messy. I did compared to a johnson but i like the body shape of this one. It's a really good bass to start with trust me.
