Fretted 4 sting bass, compact mahogany main body, padded/removable steel body frame, headless maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, amazing Soloette condenser mic stereo pickup with active volume and tone control, gig bag, and headphones. Very versatile for travel and gigs.

The tone control provides wide variation from a bright, harmonically rich, almost Rickenbackerish punch to a nice deep acoustic bass sound. The volume output is way hot - kept at 80% or pushes my amp (Eden Nemesis). The Soloette pickup's stereo spaciousness can really be appreciated with headphones. Suits my acoustic rock band perfectly but can also cut through the mix of a stack of solid body guitarists.

Good workmanship and thoughtful design. Nice and light. Can probably store in the overhead airline bin - just watch out for the overzealous traveler cramming their luggage! Appreciative audience members go out of their way to praise visual appeal of the bass.

Solid build for such a light instrument. Gets truly roadworthy with a rifle case to carry it in. Frequent travelers and touring musicians who want to stay in the groove will appreciate this setup. Plus your shoulders won't complain after strapping this on.

Have not dealt with Aria. But the bass is well designed and exceeds its travel worthy mission.

The versatile and harmonically rich sound sent my Fender with P&J bass pickups to the bench. This Sinsonido bass has a great earthy vibe and you can even hang it on the wall like a piece of art. Would search Google, Ebay and Amazon for another if I had to.
