Made in 2003 in korea.
It has 22 frets and is a five string.
Solid Top
Two Volume knobs and a tone knob.
PJ Pickup configuration.
Aria branded pickups, not sure who makes them for them.
Passive electonics.
Alder body with a maple neck and fretboard.
Finish is Metallic Blue.
Body style is like a Precision style with more radical cut angles.
Tuners are diecast sealed tuners, stay in tune really well.
34" scale and neck is farily narrow for a five string, easy to play.
Came with a cheap guitar cable, two hex keys for adjustments.
Sound

It suits my style well, laid dow some tracks for a metal song sounded great.
I just use it for recording run straight into the board.
Not noisy at all, really quiet.
It can make a rich full sound, dark sound, warm sound or bright sound.
It is a good bass for all different kinds of sounds.
I am not a bass player could not rate for live, works great in studio.
This is a nice looking bass and sounds really good for the money. The B string does not stand out to muchm guess you need a 35" scale for that to be the case.
Action, Fit, & Finish

The bas was set up really nice, low action, had to tweak it a little. The pickups are adjusted properly. I did not find any flaws, it is pretty much perfect, everything is tight and working.
Reliability/Durability

I think it would withstand live playing without a problem.
The hardware is very sturdy and made out of good materials, they will last.
Finish seems very nice to me, and looks like it will hold up well. \
Strap buttons are solid.
It seems like a very dependable bass, I am not sure on neck adjustments, I just got it. Right now it is good.
I would if I were a true bass player that played live.

I have not had to deal with them at all, But I am going to give them high marks due to the awesome warranty. All Aria guitars have a lifetime warranty on them, can't beat that.

I have been playing for 25 years, mostly guitar. Just bought this bass to lay down some tracks in my studio. If it were stolen or lost I would try to find another one, but they are hard to find. I think that are discontinued. I love the look of it, the feel of the neck, the size of the neck, the sound, and it is easy to play, good action. I compared it to a Samick CR1-5 and chose the Aria because it is a better name brand in my opinion, plus I got a great deal on this bass at $199.
