200x ? Aria Sinonido Fretless Travel bass. 4 String, solid Mahogony Body. Tuners ar at the Bridge-end of the bass, this bass is headless. Maple neck and Rosewood Fretboard. Dot markers on side of fretboard. Can be played as a "stick" or as a "conventional" bass when the supplied aluminum frame bars are added. Active Electronics with built-in headphone amp. Neck scale on this bass is a full 34 inches. I bought this off E-Bay used. Comes with Headphones and a gig bag. Has excellent features for its purpose as a travel bass and occasional performance bass. Mine had rounds on it when it arrived and I installed a set of TI Jazz flats. Very very light (4 lbs) and very portable.
Sound

I was amazed when I plugged this bass in ! It has better tone than I expected, it took a few days to dial in my best sound. Through the headphone amp, it has very good range of sounds from bass to treble. I plugged it into my amp (Eden Traveller 500) and had to back the volume WAY off. Because its active and drives headphones, there seems to be a "point" in the volume control where the headphone amp REALLY kicks-in. At that point LOOK OUT, you will be sending that into your amp and its WAY too much signal. Otherwise 1/2 to 3/4 volume sounds great. As you increase the volume, it seems to add more deeper tone. The overall sound is very good. With the TI Flats, has a nice tone, could use a bit of boost on the E string, but its easily compensated by plucking harder or EQ. Not a P, but more than adequate for personal practice, recording and even gigging if the music was appropriate (Jazz / Blues / Rock). Quite possibly this could be a primary bass. I find it very hard to put down. The portability factor is cool and as a result, I find myself practising more (on the porch etc).
Action, Fit, & Finish

The bass body is Mahogany and the neck is Maple. Fit and finish is excellent, neck pocket is unbelievably tight. Neck is Rosewood with brass ? markers. A very clever design. The pickups are a special design and not adjustable.
Reliability/Durability

So far very reliable. It looks like it will withstand travel, gigging and everyday use no problem. I adjusted the Truss rod and bridge slightly when I installed the TI Jazz flats due to their low tension.
Customer Support
:
No Opinion
Has a Lifetime Warranty. I have been reading some threads on this bass, and I hear the Aria support is exceptional. Im not going to rater because at this point I have no personal experience.

Ive been playing bass for approx 20 years. My other basses are 62 fender Precision US Reissue, Mex Active Jazz Bass, 62 Reissue Squire and a 1967 Hofner 500/1. I have to say I very impressed with the design and quality of this Aria Bass. If it was lost or stolen I would buy another no question. Its a very versatile instrument. As I said its portability and sound make it very versatile and you will take this where no bass has gone before !
