Features

This bass' features are very standard for a veteran player, but it is great for those who are just starting out. It is a standard four string p-bass with twenty frets and one volume control knob and one tone control knob. The neck is made out of maple and the fingerboard is rosewood. The finishes for this bass are antique white, sunburst, black, natural, trasparent white, and transparent red. There is a laminated top and the electronics are chrome and active.
Sound

Despite that this bass is a beginner bass, the sound is excellent at low, mid, and high volume levels. I used in a 1x15 300 watt behringer amp with my bass' volume level and the amp's volume level at max and there I couldn't hear any buzzing. It gives a deep full sound that can cut through and really show up in a band. It performs well when me and my friends record a song, but I haven't used it for a gig yet.
Action, Fit, & Finish

When I first got this bass it performed very well, but the string heights did need some adjusting, but that took all of ten minutes to fix. But fixing the string heights is important because otherwise you will get a buzzing noise that will sound horrible unless you always hit near the top of each frets.
Reliability/Durability

This bass has put up with so much crap from me. I have dropped it numerous times and it still peroforms just like the day I got it. Occasionally some screw will come loose, but it is easily fixed by screwing it back in. The hardware has lasted me for a year and a half and are still going strong. You can depend on this bass to last you through a entire gig, but I would bring a backup because if you are playing for at least two hours, the sound occasionally frays from being used, but you can usualy count on this bass to last the entire gig. I've recorded with it for three three hours consecutivly with about ten to twenty minute breaks inbetween.

Overall Rating
:

My overall rating for this product would be about an eight because it is a great bass for beginners in any situation and it is great for recording no matter what skill level you are. If you are a veteran bass player, I would recommend an effects pedal because even though this bass gives you a nice full sound, the ranges of sounds is very limited due to the features.
