How does it suit your music style (and what is that style)? This is perfect for metal. But it can also play jazz, blues funk, what ever you want! just change the settings of the trebble and bass. I play metal
What amps and effects are you using it with? Fat Rat 60watt, Zoom 606II
Is it noisy? On what settings? Noise on full bass no trebble with disortion, lovely.
Rich/Full sound? Bright sound? Both, you can change it so much
What kind of sounds can the guitar make? How much variety? You can change it to do what ever you want, really!
Likes and dislikes? The spikes sometimes get in the way, but not too much. I have small hands for a bass player so jumbo frets are a bit annoying, not too much though.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
How well was the guitar set-up at the factory? Amazing, it was pre-set up and i have played nothing as good
How well were the pickups adjusted? Perfectly sat in the body
Properly bookmatched top? Properly routed bridge? Everything A-OK
Did the guitar contain any flaws? None at all, all perfect.

Reliability/Durability : 10
Will this guitar withstand live playing? Haven't tested it so far, but its already taken a fwe knocks wwith no damaged
Does the hardware seem like it will last? Hells yeah!
Is the finish good enough to last, or does it seem thin and easy to wear off with lots of playing? This is here to stay, the finish is amazing
Are the strap buttons solid? Yes, but i use a planet waves locking system!
Can you depend on it? 100%
Would you use it on a gig without a backup? Yes

If you've dealt with the company, how helpful/friendly were they? Never dealt with them, wouldn't need top
Ever try and get it repaired? Nope
Was it under warranty How long is the warranty. 1 Year

Overall Rating : 10
How long have you been playing? What other gear do you own? Been playing for around 2 years now, and i have a fat rat 60watt with zoom 606II, have had guitars in the past, but this is the daddy
Is there something you wish you had asked before buying this guitar? Why didn't i het this eariler?
If it were stolen or lost, would you buy it again or get something else? Hmm tempting to get a gibson explorer, but i would come back to this.
What do you love about it? What do you hate? What is your favorite feature? I love the sound and look of it. Don't like the jumbo frets, but thats my fault for having small hands! My favioute feautre is the body!
Did you compare it to other guitars? Which ones? Why did you choose this one? Gibson Explorer. Chose this one cause of the price, and i've alwaysed wanted it.
Anything you wish it had? Smaller frets, erm......... free ampeg stack?:P
Anything else you'd like to share? I don't know why people slate this bass, its k'ing excellent! I wouldn't need another bass even if i changed styles! The 2003 model which i have its perfect and unless you've played it, you haven't played a Beast Bass.
