Top marks for sound. Incredibly resonant and loud acoustically, gets even better when plugged in. This bass sounds like a jazz should, nice and punchy and with plenty of growl when digging in.
Action, Fit, & Finish

Set up was poor when received, but a tweak of the truss rod and bridge adjustment took care of this. The frets are perfectly done, no gaps, no filler, and very straight. Neck joint is tight. Beautifully finished, with that vintage aged look. The bass just feels really solid.
Reliability/Durability

This bass is built to take some abuse, without a doubt.

I own many basses, mostly high-end, but this has become my favorite. Bacchus takes great pride in their craftsmanship, and it truly shows. Fit and finish is on par with basses costing many times more. Hand-made all the way, by skilled Japanese craftsmen with very high standards.
