Made in USA, baby! No "I" series Korean made Brian Moore. This is the real deal. It really is a top notch, American crafted beast.

Swamp Ash body, two active Seymour Duncan Basslines pickups. Beautiful curly maple top, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. 21 fret with 34 inch scale. Sperzel tuners, Wilkinson bridge. Chrome hardware. Bass, Mid, Treble, Volume and blend control.

Sound : 10
Drop dead tone in all positions. The blend control allows you to mix the amount of each pickup you like and volia! It sounds unbelievable in all positions.

The most impressive thing to me is that it retains the woody charachter of Precision, but has all the "modern" sound you could want.I find a lot of active basses sounds great for slick sounds and slap, but don't give that vintage woody sound. This bass has both in spades! With the 3 band eq, you can dial out any honk, get a scooped sound, blow your speakers up with gobs of low end. You can even get close to Paul's "Come Together" sound rolling off mids and treble.

It really sounds amazing. No dead spots. Even sound on all 4 strings.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
The best action I have ever seen from the factory. Low, with no rattle. No loose anything. There better not be at this price!!!! Awesome finish. Great playability to this day (had it for 4 years)

Reliability/Durability : 10
I hae had this bass for 4 years now and it has not deteriorated in anyway. I use regularly for jamming, recording and the about 10 gigs a year. The finish has not faded, just lots of smudges from my sweaty hands

Customer Support : 10
Regeistered the warrany, got an immediate email back. They have the best kind of customer support in my opinion: build it right and you won't have to call them.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing guitar and bass for about 20 years. Had tons of basses and guitars. Precisions, Jazzes, Ernie Balls (still have a Sterling), Ricks, Modulus etc. I've tried hard to find one that can growl like a P Bass and play it smooth like a Modulus. I've found it in this bass. I still use the Ernie Ball for that specific grunt, but otherwise this baby does them all better than any other bass I've tried.

Brian Moore has discontinued these and ony sells those "I" basses now. They are OK, but they have that cheap greasy rosewood feel that all low to medium end Asian guitars and basses do. The TC/4 is solid, American made and made from top quality materials. If you can try one, grab it! You may never put it down!
