I had purchased this bass a during the summer of 2006 and it is incredible. The sound is terrific (if its not your style, you can change it easily) and the body is as well. There's no down points if you purchase this bass I love it. It's a dedicated electric player's acoustic dream. It's incredibly easy to play. The body booms and it even sounds great plugged in. I've played a lot of acoustic basses (...) and this bass destroys all the competition in it's price range, and sounds better than a lot of pricier basses.

I was really shocked to compare this to the more expensive models, this one actually had the better unplugged sound than 5 other more expensive models, i was going to spend as much as $700 but didnt need to, this serves its purpose, i own expensive basses, and this not so expensive but equal in quality.

I use this bass mainly for home playing umplugged, jaming along buddys in any livingroom without having to be connected nor carry the heavy amps. It sounds very loud enough, and i jut record with this Baby and the sound is even more amazing, another reason to kepp it. the only thing it needs to be perfect it is a front strapp button. I really love this bass bridge is the most beautifull ie ever seen.

This Baby Sounds umplugged like an upright bass and very loud, sorry Gibson but this baby its louder ..., it??s incredible, and for RECORDING it??s simply AMAZING.

If it were stolen i definitely would go for another one .. but the problem is that is not available anymore, and im sure that i would have to pay a lot more mone to get same quality.

Before buying this one i tryed and played about 8 or nine Electric Acostic Basses, Ibanez, Michael Kelly, Epiphone, even Takamine, Fender .... and Ovation (which i personnaly hate due to uncomfortable back) all of them highly priced than Brownsville, and i have to say that this one have the finest sound and also the loudest to be played umplugged, for less price. Very beautifull. I bought it for 300$+100$ for the case, but now is at 200$ can??t belive it, if you can find it BUY IT, you won??t be dissapoited.
