Cort 3535

I'm not sure when or where it was made. It's a 5 string active bass. The scale lenght is 35". 24 frets. Two MightyMite soapbar pickups.
It's an active bass. The control knobs are: Volume, Pickup blend, Low, Mid, High EQ and a slap contour switch.
The bass body is Mahogany and the neck is made of Rosewood (I think)
It's got a beatuful natural dark brown finish.

The bass has a low, warm sound so it doesn't quite fit my punk band, but when I run it trough my Ibanez PH-7 bass overdrive for my metal band I get the best sound in the world. When I use distortion on it I drive it through a old vintage Orange guitar amp.
It doesn't make much noise, but once in a while I notice a low squeaky-kinda sound (like a really low 'beeep'). The slap switch combined with a three-band EQ makes it very good for many music styles...The B-string sounds AMAZING!

The bass came out perfect. The action is ultra low, but it doesn't buzz much. It's really easy to move my hand over the neck. It's a dream to play.

The bass had some finish flaws on the hardware, but it's hardly noticable and I really don't care that much.

I've used the bass live several times since I bought it and it does the job without problems, but I would advice anyone who buys this to take it easy, cuz the Mahogany body is extremely easy to damage. Just scraping your pick against the body will leave a mark.
The starp buttons are solid, but I'm gonna change them with sproper starplocks anyways. I can really depend on it. I played a outdoors gig with it in the spring (cold) and the trussrod didn't need adjustment afterwards.

I never use backup basses.

I've played bass for about two years now. I own a customized Jazzbass and a Fernandes. I probably wouldn't buy another one if it was stolen. It's a great bass, but I like trying new things all the time.
