4 string short scale (30inch) bass made in indonesia 2004. 22 frets maple neck rosewood finger board,the 2+2 headstock looks like an ibanez soundgear with a bite out of it.Body, Black (Walnut also available) kind of a Stingray shape but without scratch plate (I was thing about having one made up to add to its cute looks).One Passive mighty-mite soapbar pickup volume and tone control (yep it dosen't get much easier). Brige is similer to a stingray and is a really solid piece of kit.Flawless paint job, nice !!!

The tone of this bass is solid, as good as or even better than any bass in its price range. I find it easier to play fast runs because of its short scale so the "sound" is unbelivable awsome for slap and making chord shape even down past the 4th fret is a breeze. The tone control is kiss ass a really huge sweep from bass to treble, the strings it came with add to its brightness.
Action, Fit, & Finish

Store set up was good enough for now, all frets are in perfect nick,the neck has a slight gap on one side where it dosent fit the body of the bass (I dont know if this effects anything it dosent seem to). Fingerboard is as straight as an arrow and no blemmishes on the rosewood. Paint is great, more colour options would have been nice.

Looks soid as any bass i have ever owned, time will tell on durability I plan to use this bass live for a bit of a laugh and I trust it will hold up just fine. For this price $250 Australian i would buy another if it fell to pieces in a couple of years (no chance of that !!!).

I've been playing live for 10 years and a self confesed budget bass junkie, when I played this bass i had to have it it's well made and different to any instrument i own and so damn cheap !!! The short scale bass is a real treat to play ,other short scales like the Squier 'Bronco' or the Epiphones are cool "classic" shapes but no good for slap the Cort Action Jr is in a class of its own with its fast neck ,great pickup and cool shape. Take my advice, spend little on your bass and more on a great amp, guitar makers like Cort,Olp,Montery make gear as good as fender after all its what u do with it that counts after all, its just strings and wood people.
