I've bought this bass for my girlfriend, who plays violin in our band, and occasionally bass.
The main "feature request" was that the bass should be light.
This one IS light - only ~5 kilos (lighter than my guitar!).
However, this is not it's only good side.
2007, made in Korea.

dunno what else you would like to have from a bass in this category... Strings-through-body? more strings? You can have GB75 then, which is in a way "big brother" of this bass.
Sound

In active mode it'll do anything. I don't really play slap, but even I enjoyed playing slap while trying out this bass. So I believe it is for slap.
However, it's all in your hands - I think you can do any style with this bass. Taking into account variety of sounds you can get just by blending sound from bridge pickup to neck pickup, plus mid-frequency switch...
In passive mode sound is somewhat a bit duller... It is still usable, though, especially as a backup solution if you are suddenly out of battery.
Action, Fit, & Finish

Action was just fine, however tuning pegs and electronics controls were a bit loose. Finish is great.
Otherwise - nothing really fancy here
Reliability/Durability

Rule number one: DOUBLE CHECK BATTERY POLARITY WHEN CHANGING IT! For some reason, guys in Cort didn't include "fool-proof protection" in the electonics section of this particular bass, so I simply birned down the active electronics preamp the first day I had this bass. Luckily, I have a friend, who really knows all this electronics kung-fu, so fixing that took one day, but still. Be extra careful with all that.
Probably I'll write an update review when we'll happen to gig with it.

I'd say it is one of the best basses in it's price range.
