Cort's RB4 is the Revolution of bass.
This bass's origin is Cort JPS-5. this is a 4 string bass. Made in Korea, 24 frets,
quilted maple top, light swamp ash body, natural finish, two Bartolini MK-1 Pickups. Active Electronics with Mid Control!! Controls are Push/Pull Volume/active bypass, pickup blend, treble, mid, bass. Rock maple neck with Rosewood Fretboard. Transparent Gloss Finish. Weird, but cool, Elrick body style. String through the body stringing, Cool Spector-like solid black bridge. 34" scale neck(RB5-35") and a zero fret.

Sound : 10
Three band EQ and Bartolini electronics provide a great selection of sounds. it has a heaviness and clarity. A multitude of possibilities from a bright slap tone, to a punchy thick modern sound.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
The factory set-up was almost perfect.
It's extremely playable and there was no buzzing on the fretbord whatsoever.
The finish is beautiful and the the hardware is high quality.
I'm so satisfied!.

Overall Rating : 10
I have been playing for 6 months and I own a Fender jazz.
I though the Fender jazz was a great value when I got it, but RB4 is amazing. If it was lost or stolen I would definatly buy another one. I love the incredibly lightweight body and very flexibel electronics. The lower horn and special neck allow for perfect access to the upper frets. This sealed the deal on this bass. The control cavity was very neat and tidy with shielding. There is a separate battery compartment on the back of the bass which makes switching batteries a breeze. I compared it to German made Warwicks, Spectors, Ibanez, Lakland, Tobias, and custom made basses, but this one by far came out the best. I have owned 18 basses in the last 7 years and this one is by far my favorite that says a lot especially after I had a Spector CRFM ns-2. I love this bass and it is the best, the best value for under $1000.
