Unreal funky sounds a la Bootsy and Flea. The funk circuitry is as good if not better than all the external boxes I tested, with the convenience of having it on board! This is a funkalicous machine!
I gigged it through a Thunderfunk amp and a 4x10 cab, it sounds serious!
The only tiny dislike is a small "pop" when you turn on the funk switch (but you can always withing .25 of a sec turn the volume down..._)

Nothing to complain here, Cort is known for their superb finishes, they are one of the more successful bigger manufacturers for a reason.
Came set up ok from factory, easy to make adjustments to your needs.

In a more aggressive style of playing (like TMStevens) this bass has held up without a problem so far. I always put strap lock buttons on my basses, and sometimes use longer button screws.

I have been playing for 20 years+ and have had tried all kinds of basses for slap and funk style playing (MusicMan, Yamaha, Fender) I mainly chose it because of the built in filter and funk switch, and because Cort has a great reputatin for building basses that should actually cost more. For the money, this has certainly been on of the best. My next bass will be another Cort or Lakland.
