A Far-Eastern made Bass, short scale, shaped like a heart in metallic purple. It has a fairly generic feel but how much better is the modern Chinese product than the stuff I had to learn on 30 yrs ago? Plus it comes in a left-handed version (HUGE BONUS POINTS!!!)
One PU, volume & tone (ie useable tone or way too bassy )control.
Comes with a cute gig-bag.
A slim neck, easy to play & the short-scale is ideal for us less-than-huge men.
I bought my girlfriend one as a Christmas present, liked it & thought I'd get myself one as a more portable alternative to my Fender Jazz (also I'm not that huge so it's easier to play)
Mine has a "guitars for girls" decal on the headstock whilst hers doesn't. I think this cuts out half their available market & they should stop it!! Short scale basses work for us men too.
It's a tad neck heavy, so use it with a grippy strap.

I play it through a TraceElliott stack, which is going to make anything sound good. I'm not a connoiseur of bass tones, but it sounds good enough for me. It's a little noisy, but I plan on doing something to its cavities soon. Overall it sounds like a bass guitar!

No problems when it arrived, no dead spots & no buzzes or rattles ( unlike my Gibson335, amongst others!!). A lot of brand new guitars have problems, this one didn't.

It seems fairly durable, I would doubt if the hardware is the world's best but then some people prefer easily damaged stuff. Fender seem to make a virtue of how easily their finishes will wear away. I would think it would withstand regular gigging

ABC Music were just fine, Have no idea about warranty. Dealer in UK, Company in USA I'm in Spain so if it breaks I'll fix it myself!!

It's a perfectly good bass. Not hand made, no fancy woods or expensive inlays, but it looks good & makes a good sound. Ideal for the beginner or maybe the guitar player who needs a bass for his/her home studio. Live I would think it would suit a bass player who has to sing & play at the same time. It's not too heavy (bliss!!) & it looks cute.

i play funk and metal mainly but i landed a gig as a bassist in a recording touring industrial/glam rock outfit thanks to my jaco piece i played as a demo to them! basically it boils down to the fact i "needed" a wierd looking guitar, the guitarists use bc rich beast and the other guy uses an explorer so i was limited by choice a Black, heart shape guitar..... mmm interesting... the pickups are shit but you knew that allready.... its a completly live thing...since i have warwicks and ibanez for studio.... i take it like all bizarly shapped guitars..they look cool but tonally suck, exept the gibsons.... so if your a ten year old goth girl get it!! if your looking for awesome tone look else wer....
