Features : 8
Korean made acoustic/electric 4 string bass. Limited Edition, Mahogany body, highly gained tiger maple top in amber (almost burst like), active 4-band EQ.
Not sure of neck wood, 24 fret rosewood fret board, large cloud shaped inlays, 2 per side angled headstock.
The tiger stripes are just beautiful on the front of this guitar. The pick shaped sound hole really gives it a distinctive look. The rear of the body has been stained, coated and polished to look like glass over AAAA quality wood.
My only complaints are that there is a run in the coat on the neck that looks like a careless job and there are a few imperfections (spots) in the finish on the face of the guitar.

Sound : 9
The sound is awesome. I use La Bella Black Tape wound strings on it. Acoustically, I can get a good sound with both fingers and pick. Unplugged with my guitarist friend (playing on my Alvarez acoustic), I have to try a little harder to get my volume audible.
Plugged in, I can dial the 4-band EQ to sound remarkably like an Upright, in my opinion.
The action is set well. I do not find it difficult to either; thumb, strum, pluck, pick, pop, slap or tap on this guitar. After I master the art of action setup on an electric, I may try to perfect the setup on this.
I have not gigged or recorded on this bass. I have only used it for practice (so I don't have to amp) and for outdoor jamming with my guitarist friends.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
As I mentioned in the sound, I do not find it difficult to play this bass. The action is good and the intonation sounds ok.
The 4 band active EQ is easy to use. There is a wide range of tone you can get out of it.
I do have to say that the neck is easier to bend than any other guitar I have. I don't think/know if this is a flaw. It hasn?t given me any trouble.

Reliability/Durability : 9
I estimate that my Dillion would stand-up to gigging. I have been using it for three years in both fun and study.
The hardware seems reliable. From the tuners all the way to the strap buttons (yes, 2 buttons, one on the body end and one at the neck heel).
Gigging, I would never gig without a backup where money was involved, but I may take it to the "Sand Box" (I'm military and have the risk of deploying to the mid-east) as an only instrument (if I don't purchase a Steinberger Spirit XT-25 first for lightweight, easy travel). There it would have to withstand, perform, hold-up and be irreplaceable. And I feel it can.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I haven't had to deal with the company yet. I may try to contact them at a later date to get dealer info.

Overall Rating : 8
I have been playing on and off for about 13 years now. In the last 3 years I have gotten serious.
Out of my 14 guitar collection, I rate this guitar in my top 5 (top 10 including other guitars I've played and don't own). If I needed to replace it, I would seek another Dillion. I would ponder going with a 5-string this time thou.
It definitely stands at the top of its class in acoustic/electric bass guitars, in sound, quality and value.
The only reason I give this bass an overall rating of 8 is because of the paint flaws and the (in my opinion) overly flexible neck. Short of that, a Dillion is quality at an exceptional value.
