This bass was a mess when I got it (used) After truss rod set up and removal of the railroad track thick strings (a metal kid owned it who tuned down to SATAN, I put some mediaum guage Elixir's on it, gave it a 3/4 turn of the truss and intonated it. It's the best sounding/playing $250 I ever spent.....

I have been playing for 15 + years. I play country/rock music. I was looking for a 5 string on the cheap (I have always used 4) that I could get used to. The neck is thin, much like an Ibanez. If you can find one of these, I believe they have been discontinued, grab it. It's a bargain!
