Features : 9
It's a 2003 made in Korea. For it's price range, I'd say it's pretty good for features. 4 string, 24 frets, 5 piece neck, Rosewood fingerboard. The body: you've got a flame maple top, it's a string-thru body made of basswood. The controls: Volume, Balance (between pickups), His, Lows and Mids. The pickups are pretty nice and it comes with active electronics (both made by ESP, but pretty good). The natural finish comes with gold hardware, but black and red come with black hardware...

Sound : 8
I've only played it through a Peavey Microbass, but it stilll sounds pretty good. The pickups have NO noise the way I have it EQed. If you turn the Mids up really high, you'll get noise, but it'll sound like crap anyway... The EQ is a really nice feature, as you can configure your sound right on the bass itself... It sounded great last night for a Worship Set...

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
The finish is really nice... No complaints there. It came set up pretty nicely. The action is perfect for me, pretty much in the middle, allowing for speed without fret-buzz... There was a little stickiness on the bass when I got it, but that's it for flaws... With a tiny but of rubbing, the tiny spot was gone...

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
This bass feels very solid. I only platyed it for abnout a 20 min. worship set, but it was real fine. I wouldn't use a backup at a gig. Everything feels solid about it. I really can't vote on this though, as I've only had it for a little bit.

Customer Support : No Opinion
It's a lifetime warranty... Pretty nice. But I've had no need for Customer Service...

Overall Rating : 10
This is by far a great value... The price is hard to beat... I's definately buy it again if it were stolen... Personally I'd rather have last years model as it has a decent finish, but EMG 35hz pickups and EMG active electronics. Right now, you can get that on Music123 for $300, too!!
