This bass definetely suits my bands style of music. We play a full range of genre's. We mostly play hard rock with a splash of metal. This bass I use tuned down to A,C,G,C,F. It has that low growl that just wants to make your heart skip beats. The highs are clear and the lows you can feel in your chest. I have had it in shows and just recently in the studio. Either setting this bass has a very pleasent sound. I run the bass through a Digi-Tech BNX-3 processor.

The bass was very poorly set up from the factory. Every string has buzzing to it. The nice gentleman took about an hour or so and adjusted the bridge, tress, and tuning bolts so everything would sound great. He also had to go and adjust the pickups because they were loose. Everything else was just pure beauty. My other bass which is a Warwick Rockbass Streamer had to have no adjustments coming from the factory. It was set-up perfectly so this was a huge let down.

So far it has withstood a few shows plus studio time. It seems it will have the longevity to last for a long time. All of the hardware and knobs seem like they are pretty well intact and ready for lots of road use. The strap buttons are in there solidly but I am going to have them replaced with strap locks. I have played this bass everyday for about 6 or 7 weeks and no adjustments have been needed. I would use it without a backup but since I always have 2 basses with me at all times its not really a problem.

So far I am very pleased with this bass. It is only my second one but I tried out probably about 10 other basses and this one had a dark edge that I was looking for. I would definetely buy another one if this one came up missing. I have only been playing for about 8 months or so but have had previous experience with guitars. I own a Warwick Rockbass Streamer 4 string. I run them through a Yorkville Bloc 250B head and a Fender 4x10 cab, along with a Digi-Tech BNX-3 processor. The neck is very fast. I can slide up and down very easily.
