Sound is really great! From funky - to fusion and industrial sound like. I am a slapper, and the bass is great for slapping - just make sure to use thick-er strings - 45-65-85-105 at least... :) There's a possibility that the music store has put on thinner strings - which really don't work well for slapping.

It's a really comfortable bass guitar... The neck is thin and the finish is perfect...

Strong wood... I have almost raped this guitar by adjusting the neck and the bridge so many times... Had no problem with it.
