I play metal (heavy, thrash, death, doom, grind, black etc..)
The bass is not noisey at all. I am very impressed with it's rich full sound, and it has great sustain for a bolt on. I have been able to get any sound I want out of it. A first for a non-active pickup/electronics bass guitar.

The bass was set up perfect. No flaws.

This bass will survive live gigs. It is a very quality instrument. I highly respect ESP guitars and basses. They have very high quality. But I will not play any gig without a backup. That is just plain stupid. It only takes one out of a million gigs for you to break a string and make you look like an amateur. I have two of these just in case.

I have been playing for 20 years. This is the only bass I have kept. I do not like P-basses. I am very, very picky with my instruments and I love the TA series by ESP.
I have two of these and if it were stolen I would buy another one to replace it.
I love everything about it, and hate nothing.
I compared it to Fender, Jackson, Washburn, Spector, BC Rich, Deans, Ibanez, Alembic, Peavey, Gibson you name it. This beat them all in sound and playability.
I do wish it had active electronics and pickups, but that can be easily change. The core of the bass is the important part and that is perfect for me. It may not be for you, but that is another story...
