I'm not sure what year it was made, but the neck says it was made in China.
It has 24 frets and 4 strings.
It has 2 tone knobs and a volume knob.
It has 2 P pickups and 1 J pickup.
I guess the stock pickups are made by Eleca, though I have since put some pretty sweet Dimarzio's in.
The fingerboard is Rosewood, the neck is Maple, and the body is Alder.
Sound

I play mainly rock/metal, and with some distortion it sounds alright.
I'm currently using a Behringer BXL3000 Ultrabass amp and a Behringer OD100 Overdrive/Distortion stompbox.
Without any effects, (with the Dimarzio pickups) its got kind of a funky, bassy sound; nice for slap (which I can't do very well at all).
I've only played one show with it, but it the sound it produced on stage really surprised me (in a good way, of course).
Action, Fit, & Finish

When I bought this, it was in new condition, and the action was almost perfect; it could've been a little lower.
Everything was set up nice; for the price (just under $300 is what I got it for) it is set up almost perfectly. The only problems I had was that the volume and tone knobs were pretty lose, and the factory tuning keys just weren't good at all. The tuning keys have since been replaced and the volume and tone knobs have since been tightened.

Like I said earlier, I've only played with this bass on-stage once, but it held out very well. I've had it for almost a year (since July 2nd, 2007) and I've never had any problems with the neck, strap buttons, paint job, or anything dealing with the condition. Overall this bass is pretty well solid.

I've been playing bass seriously for a little over a year, and I have this bass almost a year, as stated earlier. Besides this, I own a 6-string Brice (Which I would recommend to anyone), and my other gear was mentioned above.
If this bass was stolen, I would be quite sad, but I don't think I would go out and buy this again; I'd probably save up my money for a good Ibanez or something.
