(maple/walnut) 2 body wings attached to the neck and a nice sunburst finish similar to "Fireglo." 2 Volume and 2 Tone controls with a 3 way pickup selector. 2 pickups with passive electronics. Longscale bass with rosewood board and nice triangular inlays on the bound neck.

Bass sounds fantastic. I play through a Fender Bassman 400 and an old Sunn Model T with a single 15" Deitz cabinet and you can get all of the classic bass sounds. I have not used it in the Stereo mode but can't wait to try it out.

After purchase I cleaned the bass and set it up. The truss rod appeared to have never been adjusted and it set the neck up nice and straight with low action. I use roundwound strings on it for those Yes and Rush type of tones.

I think the bass would be a good gig bass. It has top notch construction and the hardware is in good working order. I'd use it without a backup as there is no battery to fail.

Electra is long gone, but their guitars have held up. I like their MPC series as well.

These are very hard to come by. The bolt neck versions are more plentiful, but get the neck through design if you can find one. A great bass for the $$.
