This guitar ,ade in China is of good quility from the J.H.S family (also including Vintage),it has a simple rosewood neck that is sturdy with ease of play with 20 jumbo frets, its in the Fneder P-bass style and has 2 passive pickups. On the lower body it has 1 volume knob and 1 tone knob, basic but dependable, the tuning keys on this thing are massive, and I mean MASSIVE, i hit my mate with one in band practise and severly cut him, they are non-locking but beware they untune very easily.
Sound

The sound is rich and deep in tone, it can be played in a variety of styles from rock to blues, one bad point is that it does have a lot of fret buzz in the lower frets on 'e' and 'a', but it performs well on stage and can produce a nice loud tone without fuzz or interuption.
Action, Fit, & Finish

The fit and finish is of good quility, the only two bad points I can pick out it the loose srews in the scratch board (which dont seem to be of conventional style, hence not being able to screw them back in) which sometimes can rattle, and also the loose screws in the pickups. Also both pickups arent positioned to well as when I play (resting my thumb on the second pickup) it pushes in and the other side pertrudes. Bbut apart from this it is of good quility standard.

This bass is great ive knocked it around a hell of alot and there isnt a mark to show for it, its so solid nearly nothing leaves a mark. The strap buttons tend to slip sometimes casusing my strap to fall of and the bas to hit the floor, but dont worry its so solid you wont have a stratch. I use it every gig minus a back up and it has never failed me.
