Witht the two puckups and the switch I can get all the styles I need.
I have a fender frontman bass amp and the two go very well together.
likes are, solid body with a noce neck. dislikes are there is a slight
buzz when the treble is up full. I like this bass.

I go it second hand, so I did a little work on it, but it does sound good now. The pickups are adjusted close to the strings. This might upset a few otjher brand owners, but I have played, fender squire and washburn and ibanez all entry level and they had nothing in this bass. The neck alone is far better on the encore and the buzz from the ibanez is really bad. Enocre is far better. I know that the newer encores are not upto much but is you can get yours hands on one with p and j pickups get it.

I ahev been playing a few years now. If it was stolen i would get
another or if I had the money I'd go upmarket, but for the price and the others entry level ones I have played, no way would I look anywhere else.
