This is probabaly one of the best basses i have had this is definetly a bass that fully represents Blink-182. A great semour-duncan p-bass pickup a jazz bass body and neck its just great!!!!

Sound : 10
A great tenory sound just like blink. Its great to go along in a band with a T.-delonge signature. You can really tell its a fender i'am going to record with it next week. This is a bass that makes you want to go home and slap yo' mama

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
It has a great jazz bass fit. the action on the neck is great I didn't have to alan wrench it or anything. Pink is a good color for a punk it is solid paint job just great.

Reliability/Durability : 10

As far as I know, these are new for 2002. Released this month. Maple P-Bass neck, with rosewood fretboard, Alder Jazz bass body, perloid pickgaurd, split coil Duncan quarter pound pickups. Single volume knob, comes with deluxe gig bag. 20 frets, string thru.

Sound : 10
I use it as it was intended, 3-chord, softcore punk. And really, that's what its for. The quarter pounders (1/4" poles) give alot of punch. The J-bass body is lighter and easier to sling around, and then....the p-bass neck. Single volume knob keeps it simple, but limits the tone you can get out of the bass.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
This one came right out of the box at Guitar center. Neck was perfect. Pickups were at the right angle. The only thing wrong was that they put a Tom Delonge engraved neck plate on the thing instead of a Mark Hoppus one....

Reliability/Durability : 8
It's a Mexican Fender, and seems to lie along the lines of all the Mexican Fenders. I like this bass, and would gig without a backup, although I usually play songs in drop d as well, so I usually have more than one bass.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I haven't called in about getting the Mark Hoppus neck plate, but we'll see. I mean, it's Fender, so whatever you think about Fender's customer support is whatever you think.

This is my 4th bass (3rd that I've hung onto, got rid of the squier.) It's great. But, let me put it this way. It's not very versatile, that's not necessarily a bad thing, but this thing has one tone. If you like it, well then this bass is great. If you don't...well, start lookin at other basses.

This is not a bass for someone who likes Blink 182 and is going to get it just for the sake of having the same bass as Mark. If you know what you're buying, and you like the features, get it. I bought this bass partly because I like Blink, but mostly because it's like the bass I was going to get from Carvin....
