Passive jazz Sanarium pick-ups with a 18 volt pre-amp.Quilted maple top over alder body.Pao Ferro rosewood fretboard over maple 22 fret neck.Schaller tuners. Jazz style body(red).5 string.Gold hardware with strap locks. Case with polish, neck rod adjustment tools and strap. The only thing I added was a Hipshot D-tuner on the E string(had to grind it to fit it along with the g string tuner on the other side and bend the handle).

Nice sound and it growls better than some of the 18 volt basses(as long as you don't over draw the pre-amp knob).Versable for most styles(rock, jazz, country and funk).
Action, Fit, & Finish

Had to adjust it. 15th fret was too high on the a string.Tuners seem chincy (plastic and I lost one of the screws).Jack was terrible(replaced with a stereo Switchcraft jack) and nut has a tendency to loose up once in a while.

Heavy, but built like a tank)fell off my stand at a gig and withstand the flop).Nice finish.Tunners are sorda cheap.

The pre-amp was bad.I send it to an autherise Fender dealer/ repair shop to fix it.Being the bass was discontinued,I paid for the labor and Fender paid for the part. Work well for me.
