Hard to say what country this was made. I think it's USA, but with parts assembled in Japan. Maple body, maple neck through, with a 22 fret rosewood or solokin fretboard with "brother" of pearl inverted "v" fretmarkers. P and J pickups and single volume and tone with a 3 way switch. A very wierd 3 ply nut. (Graphite/pvc/graphite?) Pretty standard sealed tuners ala Schaller. The bridge is functional, but just. Basic action and intonation adjustments, but with 2 allen screws on either side of the bridge. (Set screws?) Jumbo frets, and a thick, but very sweet neck. White that has faded to a sick cream white.

After a complete rewire, the original p/u's actually have a decent sound! Shocked the Hell outa me! The bridge p/u has a slight single coil hum, but blended with the neck, it's not noticable. Fat, without be jarring. It would do good studio or live equally.

A semi-basket case. The wiring was totally screwed. (People, just because you have a soldering iron, doesn't mean you know how to use it!) The headstock was repaired from a crack that ran through the tuner holes. (Nice job. Needs a little fill in.) and the action was sheer and utter crap. An allen key, and 5 minutes of my life fixed that. The neck surprised me in it's straightness. Absolutely beautiful.

Yes to all if the above questions, but me being the psycho I am, it's going to go through some changes. I intend to remove the frets from the 8th fret, and have a 1/2 fretless. The bridge will be modified to a string through the body, and I might change the p/u's. And since it's been repaired, I'll probably do a marble finish on it.

I'm rebuilding this for a friend. I've been playing for over twenty years or so, and have been rebuilding at least that long. Too many guitars to mention, and just two basses. An original 56 Dan Electro Longhorn, and a '80 Kramer DMZ 6000B. (The most perfect instrument ever Made!)

Okay,I got this bass in a trade,I traded a Daion 4-string for it.It was totally frickin' worth it!It takes a lot to impress me as far as instruments go but this bass was literally right up my alley.
The frets have been removed from the scalloped fingerboard so its quite a sight now.23 fret position rosewood(i think)fretboard on a mahogany(i think)thru-body neck.Super lookin' bright white finish with black hardware on the body and chrome on the headstock.P-style in neck and J-style in bridge positions, one volume, one tone, and a three-way pick-up selector switch and its got a black Tele-style output jack.

I play a lot of eclectic bullshit and this bass has a very workable range of sounds, even on recording.Mine is fretless so it probably sounds noticeably different, but it sill impresses the hell outta me.

I've been playing for about three years,I got a Yamaha fretless and some other shit I think is cool.If it were stolen I 'd probably go after some body with a motorcycle chain and a pillowcase full of beer cans. It's a badass Flying V fretless in white that sounds and pays good for me.The one thing lack for this bass truly?A Kahler man,a Kahler.

This is a very sturdy, eye and ear pleasing bass, with some new hardware, and possibly new electronics, it could be close to perfect.
