it sounds like crap. the sound fades out once every so often. no bass to it what so ever. i'm trying to sell it. i bought it for $50 bucks. the guy wanted $185 at first

Action, Fit, & Finish : 1
every time i play it the string comes off the nut. its hard to tune because the tuners get stuck. as soon as i bought it i had to fix the insides. the wires are crap

Reliability/Durability : 2
anyone else who has this bass, i feel sorry for you. i wouldnt rely on it at all. all its good for is to joke around and beat the crap out of it and break it,which wont take that long probably

Customer Support : 1
its not worth fixing up or anything. throw it in the trash is all i can say

Overall Rating : No Opinion

Sunburst four string P-bass copy with a 22 fret maple fretboard, club-style tuning keys, and typical P-Bass pickup configuration. One volume, One tone, and an input jack. Made sometime in the 1960s i think. Older than hippies.

I borrowed this bass from my friend Evan to complete an album since I did not have a bass of my own.

Sound : 6
This bass actually sounds like trash but it works for what I use it for. It has a midrange characteristic and isn't real deep, jazzy, or defined. The tone knob barely works and it sounds pretty muddy.

However I usually fix that up by covering the muddy characteristics of the bass with distorted guitar in both channels and EQ'ing the bass so there's no pick noise and all that's left is the low frequencies.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 6
The saddles are really loose and one of the volume knobs is missing. One of the tuning heads is not original. The nut is really loose and the A string rattles and shakes like no other. I actually can fix the rattling temporarily by pushing the nut down with my fingers...which is cool but also kind of scares me how flimsy the nut is. The sunburst finish looks like you just mixed Iced Tea and Orange Juice, with a hint of Hawaiian Punch.

It needs a set up badly, but I don't think $30 is worth the cost of the bass itself. However, I may just do this because I love Evan and he's cooler than ice.

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
I wouldn't gig with it. Let's just put it at that.

Harmony doesn't even exist anymore.

If you can get it for less than $30 and desperately need a bass, then I could recommend this to you, but otherwise, there's so much better things that are out on the market these days that basses like these basically aren't worth squat unless you're practically GIVEN one, or borrowed one, in my case.

God Bless Ya!
