Great for Classic Rock and Blues. I use it with a Variety of Amps.
Warm Hofner Tone but also a Bit like a Gibson EB-O.
Because of the Pickup being in the Neck Postion, sometimes the Sound can be a Bit Muddy.

One Pickup Coil was Rewound Duplicating the other.
For a 46 Year-Old Bass I would say it is Performing better than most New Ones !
VERY IMPRESSIVE QUALITY !

Best Playing Bass I have Ever Owned ( I have Owned over Forty ! ) Plays like a Telecaster with Ultra Low Action.
Weighs about 5 Lbs. Has a Throaty, Warm, Vintage Tone not available in Today's Instruments.
This Version of the 182 appears to be Very Rare. I have Owned a Couple of Hofner 185's and some Beatle Basses also.
