2008 6 string made in Korea. Neck thru construction 5 pc. maple & bubinga neck. RThick rosewood fingerboard. Mahogany wings with flame maple top and back venereal. Bartolini active pickups and EQ. Monorail bridges, 35" scale. Boost/cut for bass, mid, & treb. with 3 way coil tap switch. Master volume and pickup blender. Comes with Prestige hardshell case- don't let them tell you it's extra money!

When I brought it home I immediately put on a new set of Fromera Stainless strings since the originals sounded dull. It has a very rich full sound and unlimited control over tones. I play jazz & blues and it's great for those styles, but I think could be used on almost any style- very versatle.
Action, Fit, & Finish

Finish is natural-oiled and is a little rough. I may sand on it some day. Action is great.

I've been playing since the '60's, and this is the best bass I've ever owned after several Fenders and Washburns. If you haven't tried the Bartolini system, you haven't lived. I really like everything about it and wouldn't change a thing. I would definitely buy another.
