This bass is fantastic!!! it does it all, Pino,Jaco and gives me my own fretless sound. The pre amp is silent no hiss even at the highest trble settings. I have owned virtually every quality mass made bass going and this at last is the one. Shame it took so long for me to take the plunge and have it made. My set up is an Acme Low B1 series 11 with a Yamaha BBT 500 with a Warwick Protube head and 4*10 for larger gigs.

The finish is excellent, it plays like a dream just like all Mike Walsh's basses. It was set up perfectly with a super low action with no rattling at all. The construction is flawless.

Again it's all good. Mike Walsh is a star, he always has time for you and answers questions quickly. I have been talking to him for 2 years about him building as bass for me and now I have one with another nearly completed. Just give him a try his are custom basses at there best and affordable.

As I have said I love this bass, the quality, tome, playability and the service from Mike Walsh are excillant. As I said I have owned Viger, Musicman, Wal, Fender, Warwick, Tune and this is by far the best I have ever owned. Check out Iceni in Essex they are probably the best custom basses in the UK.
