The TONE of this bass is similar to a Fodera, modern with versatility.
It is ultra quiet, rich and warm, but brightness can be added with ease. I have it strung with DR Black Beauties and it sounds phenominal! Clear as a bell and some SERIOUS dimension! Cuts through the mix but adds sooo much to the overall sound of the band! My style is finger style with some slap and the tone is fantastic with both. Harmonics are crystal clear. Presence in spades!!!

This bass is a MONSTER and should withstand the test of time. Built like a Rolls. No need for backup as the passive mode has outrageous tone as well

I have been playing, off and on, since I was 16. I'm 55...do the math. I consider this bass irreplacable, but IF something ever happened to it I would have them build another just like it. ...maybe with an Audere pre? I can't say enough about the quality of this product or the service. It doesn't get much better. I am not given to giving straight 10s for ANYTHING, and I really am not a gushing teenager so beleive me when I say this bass is fantastic!
