A Made in Japan Jackson Bass, 24 Frets 5 Strings, with pasive Humbucker Soapbar Duncan Designed Pickups. Poplar body and a maple Bolt ON neck with Rosewood fingerboard and Jumbo frets, a pretty comfortable neck. The colour is Ferrari Red and Chrome hardware.
Three Controls: Volume, Tone and Blend. But i changed the wired for 2 Volume controls and one Master Tone.

Sound : 8
I've used it in differents amps, but mainly in my Ibanez SW20 and a 50 Watts Yamaha with a Zoom BFX-708 and an Overdrive Stompbox. The bass has a somewhat powerful tone and is not noisy at all, It's a versatile bass as i've used it to play anithing from Classic Rock to Grindcore, it has a good warm sound but a more brighty sound can be available with a suitable EQ. Sadly the 5th string (low B) it's a kind of floppy, but for the price i paid for the bass i guess it's OK.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
I bought it used, so i had to change the pots and readjust the action. Tuners, pickups and bridge were in perfect condition.

Reliability/Durability : 9
It's a Reliable bass without any doubt.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never dealt with them.

Overall Rating : 8
I've been playing it for about 6 months, it's a comfortable and reliable bass with an excelent tone a good musical colour. My only complain is the body, if it were mahogany this would be my ultimate bass, i plan to wire it with Active Bartolini or Seymour Duncan Pickups and maybe add a Mahogany Body. You'd guess that i plan to change everything, but it's only an upgrade to make it a C5A Concert Bass Duh.

Japan made, it was bought in 2000, 34" scale, 24 jumbo frets, 5 string, poplar body, with bolt on maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, it comes with two duncan designed pickups and chrome hardware. i got mine in dark metallic red. it was love at the first time, it is a beautiful instrument! Also got it with Jackson gigbag and additional pack of strings! paid for it 500$ in music store in Germany! Really cheap for good instrument!

Sound : 10
On this bass i like the neck, it is really great! it is comfortable, and even after hours of playing my hands arent tired! and spacing between strings is perfect so it enables smooth and fast playing. i mostly play progressive metal and jazz, so i find this bass better in jazz than in metal, it is a little bit quiet bass! but if you have good amplifier there is no problem, i use it with mesa boogie amps! it mostly produces sounds that are perfect for jazz, i found this bass better than fenders jazz bass! awesome instrument! but this is mine opinion, this bass may be differnet for someones else needs! one, thing, low b sting could be better, but that can be controled with equalizer!

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
great action, fits perfectly, grat finish, although i would like some special graphich on mine bass! just kidding! i am very pleased with everything!

Reliability/Durability : 10
i use it for a 1 and a half year now and im playing it for about 5 or 6 hours every day, and it is still perfect! i love the chrome hardware and it prooved to last and even with gallons of sweat during the gigs they are as same as new! strap buttons are big and there is no chance that strap will fall during play! i also plan to buy another one this year couse this is the best bass i ever played and i could imagine my life without it!

Customer Support : 10
didnt had any problems , and i hope i wont! i contacte jackson customer support about building a custom bass, and they were very helpfull, Jackson is serius and great company and as a player you can rely on them!

Overall Rating : 10
im playin bass for two years now, but i have a brilliant mentor, he is best bass player in my country (Croatia), and thanx to him im playing better than some who plays for 8 years! i also own custom built precision with custom graphic such on Steve Harris bass ( the white one with west ham logo), Ibanez GIO GRX70 guitar (use it mostly for making music, and relaxing), i have mesa boogie amplifier, and i plan to buy a yamaha rbx6jm bass which is primary tool of my rolemodel Myung from Dream Theater! Jackson is great AXE!
