Acoustic sound is not bad, you don't really get a full sound from the low E string, but the A is great. Plugged in it is about average for mid level active electronics, not stellar, but not too bad either.
Action, Fit, & Finish

Finish is pretty decent, some glitches and goopiness especially near neck/body joint. Frets were pretty good, neck needed a little tweaking, and even then, some warpage prevents really dialing it in. One tuner was really screwed up, the slot was cut off center so the side of the barrel bent slightly when the string was cranked up to proper tension. Rosette was pretty nice and wood quality was pretty good.

This bass seems like it will hold up pretty well, and for a long time. It's a real bruiser. I would depend on it, it is not an ultra high performer, but rather a dependable instrument. Think Volvo not Ferrari.

no experience with customer support, oh, wait, I did ask about whether they were going to make a five string, and I got a personal answer back within a week.

I have been playing for 20 years, I own a Johnson Resonator, a Gibson Style O, a Fender P bass, A Steinberger, etc. The 672E is as good as the Epiphone El segundo or El cap on acoustic sound, but the Epi has a little better action.
