Made in 1999, in Korea, like most budget guitars.
Neck-thru with 24 frets, maple neck with rosewood fretboard
2 volume, 1 tone, 5 way rotary pickup switch
2 Epiphone\Kramer Dual-Rail (humbucking) pickups, sorta like passive EMG's
body wings are made of alder, not press board.
My guitar was a plain, opaque Red, it was really glossy and got gresy easilly, I wet-sanded the neck with 400-grit sandpaper up and down really quickly to get a Satin finish on the neck, THIS MAKES IT SO IT DOESN'T GET GREASY EASILY AND MAKES IT MORE COMFORTABLE AS WELL AS A LOT FASTER, I recommend you do this to pretty much any guitar that isn't treated by humans, which is about any guitar from the Orient, Japan may be an exception.
an odd Precision Bass shape
all the acessories except for the strings and the hex wrenches I had to buy seperatly

I really like the fact that it has humbuckers, they make it a bit less bright, the tone seems to give it a treble boost so I wouldn't recommend playing on 10 too often, 7 or under for most styles.
It gives you some good options
I'll play this in the studio and for gigs!

Considering this at in a warehouse untouched for 2 years AFTER they set it up, I won't take off any.
I had to adjust the truss rod and the saddles, but that's normal for a neglected guitar
The TKL hardshell case I ordered and was what the bass was shipped in CRACKED and I have get something else and return this one, I may have to settle for a gigbag, or maybe I'll check out that Coffin Case...
Crappy gloss finish like most Asians
this is almost like they dipped them in paint!

I still have to call about the case, I just got this yesterday, but I hear that they have some AWESOME tech support from REAL musicians!

If you are on a budget or just beginning, forget the cheaper ones, I'd go all out and get this baby, it is about as good as a Rickenbacker 4000 series, which can cost well over $1000!
BUY THIS BASS, YOU'LL BE SURPRISED BY HOW SWEET IT IS!
Hope you know how to do a setup or know someone who can do it for you, it tool me 3 hours to perfect it!
