Features : 9
2000 Elite 6, 36" neck, tuned B to C, Walnut body, STUNNING quilted maple top, Gold Gotoh Tuners, Overwater brass bridge, Maple Bubinga neck, Rosewood fretboard, XLR, Neutrik locking jack, New Overwater pre amp and standard PU's

Loads of great features, but I would personally like a few extra such as a Active/Passive switch.

Sound : 10
WOW! Fantastic sound! The low B is just killer, massive fat bass end tone, real good!
Using it through an SWR head with a Peavey 2x10 pro cab.
Exceptionally good bass for pit work and shows for putting in that massive bassy tone!
It is also an extremely versatile bass, and tones can be dialled up quite easily.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Perfect set up, cant say anything else!

Reliability/Durability : 10
99% solid, just a couple of minor hiccups, but it was in no way Overwaters fault.
All woods, build quality, hardware and electronics are first class!

Customer Support : 10
The best customer service I have ever come across. Chris and Laurence at Overwater are fantastic!

Overall Rating : 10
It is definately better suited for doing shows etc as oppose to fast soloing. The 36" neck makes it a little harder to play real fast, but its not major at all. I am going to compare it to the Ken Smith BT6 I have also played, and I must say, I prefer the shorter scale neck of the Smith and the general 'honky' tone of the bass! No way though am I knocking the Overwater, its truly a superb instrument, and in many respects, better than any other bass I have ever played!

Excellent bass, Overwater deserve a lot of credit!
