Fantastic sound. I use it with GK 1001 RB combo amp, also SWR Silverado. Rarely do I need, but do have Hartke 15 and Carvin 2X10 cabs. Super quite bass, have not used in studio. Great variety of sound options with the pick ups and great sound with the solid body and Bartolini pickups.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Perfect set up, no flaws.

Reliability/Durability : 10
Nice and light- about 8 lbs which is great for any musician who plays out. Satin finish will last long time and lower maintenance. The basses come with Dunlop straplocks installed, which was great b/c that's what I have on all my guitars and straps. Hipshot bridge is real solid and the nut appears to be graphite (good idea). Also, I spoke with the main man at Roscoe (Gard) and he told me that the bass has 2 reinforcement graphite truss rods.

Just called about the warranty (2 years) and they couldn't have been nicer. They say to call or email anytime and mean it. Kudos

Overall Rating : 10
I also own a Modulus Q 5, Ernie Ball Sterling 4 and this is up there with the Modulus. I like the feel of the Roscoe neck better (it's not graphite) and the low action w/out fret buzz makes fretting and playing fast easy. I love this bass. Would replace it in a heartbeat if had to.

It is a new Bass made here in the U.S.A. Norh Carolina, 24 fret 5 string bass, swamp ashe bottom and a maple top. Bartilini pickups, with a Bartilini three band EQ. Actve electronics, three peice neck, very thin easy to play, It came with a case that was especially made for this bass.

Sound : 9
My style of music ranges from classic rock to rhythm & Blues to funk to light Jazz, I'm using a fender 400H with a 15" carmen Vega speaker cabnet. The noise level is very quiet even with the volume and treble turned all the way up. The range of sound is very good from a deep bass to mid range to a funky slap sound. I did not try recording yet but it should do just fine.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
The set up at the factory was very good the only thing I did was lower the action just a little for my own playing style. The only flaw I found on the Bass so far was a scratchy noisey volume selector the dealer replaced it.

Reliability/Durability : 9
The bass is very well made, all the components used are of top quality so it should be dependable and last for a long time.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I did not have to deal with any warranty issues so I have no opinion

Overall Rating : 9
I've been playing bass off and on for 12 years, I own an 1972 Fender Jazz bass a warwick neck-thru 4 string thumb bass, and a Fender American Deluxe Jazz Bass. I really like this new Roscoe Bass and the more I play it the better I'm liking it. If it were stolen or lost I would replace it with another one , because I'm already thinking of trading one of my basses for a 4 string Roscoe bass. I Compared this bass to a American made 5 string bolt on Spector bass it was a hard choice but I just could not stop playing the Roscoe Century V Bass so I knew this was the one for me.
