In a word..amazing. Cuts through a mix like you wouldn't believe. No noise on any setting. With the VTC off it is nice and bright (modern) and as you add the VTC in, suddenly it is ready for Motown, very musical and flexible preamp.
Low notes are very distinct, strong fundamental tones. I play rock and funk and this is the machine.

Perfect - not a single flaw. Fit and finish was amazing. The setup was great, even a bit low for my liking, a very simple adjustment and I was in heaven.

Looks very reliable, would use it without a backup.
Included strap locks.

Since I had to custom order this bass I dealt directly with the company. The customer service at Sadowsky is legendary and now that I have experienced it first-hand, their quality rep is well deserved.

Been playing for about 20 years, the most amazing instrument I have owned (I also have Pedulla, Paul Reed Smith, and L'arrivee so I have experience with high-end instruments). If it was stolen I would be on the phone with another deposit and send my insurance money right back to Roger in NYC.
