Natural finish,alder body/Morado(a rosewood)fingerboard,Sadowsky hum cancelling pu's,sadowsky preamp with VTC(a must!$150 option)clear plexiglass half pickguard and straplocks installed by Lisa at sadowsky(who does my setups,surgically sharp and accurate)

It is SORT of like a jazz bass,not really..it's it's own animal. The blend does not really "blend" like most blend knobs on active basses, it's essentially a 3 position switch, this makes it hard to dial in the "jaco sound" although soloing the bridge pu comes sort of close. The sound is basically like thunder,it's my "secret weapon".That sadowsky preamp just absolutely roars..keeping the eq completely down makes the bass basically passive, I just dial in a bit of low end, like 10-20%..and it gives me a booty-kick,like a shot of nitro in a race car..what a sound.
The sadowsky is very expensive sounding, to me..it sounds like a pre cbs jazz bass through some really expensive studio tube gear,keep your amp flat,and add bass boost, usethe vtc to warm it up, these can be a tad bright with steels,but I prefer the sustain of roundwounds.

Perfection..perfection..perfection.. everyone says it feels like..oh..my..god.
it feels expensive. like a caddy,the reddish morado fingerboard is all oiled up and feels so luxurious,the fretswork is microscopic-surgical..so smooth.Sadowsky takes pride in this, they make sure everything is smooth on the edges,etc..when u get a setup.
There is nothing like it..it's perfect.

Sadowsky will fix anything if it gets messed up,look, stuff happens, these guys gave me a free setup when the neck slipped a bit(due to season changes,and heavy,heavy use by myself,I'm sure)
They comped me..very cool.I have had no problems,only needed a setup once or twice,normal for any bass being usded alot.

They are sooo nice,like a family,they have a heart.These guys are the coolest, I live in NY,so i see them alot, for setups,mods..but only because I like to buy my strings there,and get all my basses setup by their techs.A++ service.and a cool dog too.

If you own one bass,this will be the one I'd get. It is luxury..personified. it feels like absolute luxury to me, sounds tremendous,and feels so..right in your hands. get one..believe the hype.
