this was my first bass that owned. Somewhat crappy of a bass. P-stle pickups, 20 fret rosewood neck, crappy machineheads. 2 knobs, tone and volume. Passive electronics. Action was to high and the no matter what i did the frets always buzzed. But since then I have converted it into a decent sounding fretless bass. It sounds better without the frets than it ever would with them

P-style pickups don't offer alot of sounds. Not enough for me. All you get on this bass is "mudd". I will never get a p-style bass for the reason that this one wasn't any good. P&J style possibly but not a Precission. I'll never get another samick thats for sure.

Action was tooo high, Finish sucked, This piece of crap wood has knots all over it, you can see it very well through the natural finish. I mean come on, couldn't they have at least painted it black so i wouldn't have something else to complain about? It would be pretty if it didn't have those black knots all over it

Durability?no Rekliable? yes. Even though it is an aweful ugly bass, i've never had a problem with it, I will never play it again except for improving on playing a fretless. Making this baby a fretless was a good choice. Now i can sell it for $50 instead of $10.

What a crapper. It is a good beginner bass though, no doubt about that. You get what you pay for and thats it. I know have several basses and this just doesn't need to be in the presence of greatness.
I don't care if this bass was stolen. I was naive and didn't know anything about the world of sexual bass playing when i got it. Now that i have seen the light, this bass just makes me sick. No samick for me, or ibanez, they are too closely related, Give me a tobias, warwick, Ken Smith, Ernie ball, even a fender, No more samick,
