2 humbuckers, vol/tone, 3-way pickup selector, tortise-shell pickguard, 3 colour sumburst, black headstock, over-string retainer. Rad rad rad bass! I got this second hand marketed as a Sears Roebuck bass, and through some research found that HARMONY made basses for SILVERTONE, which were then marketed by SEARS ROEBUCK.

Very retro, and very versatile. It can be so low and smooth you can't distinguish notes, or so high and sweet that it sings! Rad!
Action, Fit, & Finish

Although its a bit poorly balanced, its otherwise great, and the sunburst is second to none.
Reliability/Durability

I'm more careful with this bass than I am with my other one, and I even bought a case for it! It deserves it, its an old (to me!) '71 bass, and although its been around a bit, its still in primo condition.

I found the company websites very good during my research, and they allowed me to easily find who was making basses for sears 30 years ago.
