Great price.
* It also comes with a thumb rest that now with I hadn't removed.
Very comfortable.
Package deal comes with Revolver Bass, black nylon strap, crappy cord that lasted me almost 6 months, fragile tuner ( Silvertone Stun 1 Electronic Tuner ), BAXs bass amp, thin gigbag w/ no padding, cheap guitar picks, and Silvertone Instructional DVD.
DVD was somewhat helpful.
Decent package if bought new.
Try to find a cheaper price that 199.99 if possible.
You'll be replacing a few items within a year.

This was my first bass. Never tried any other P-basses, but this one is pretty decent - especially if you're starting out.
It came with a 20 Watt amp. BAXs Amp by Silvertone.
Decent bass amp. Especially for the price.
Body made of Plywood, so it really light and comfortable.
It was taken to a luthier and he replaced the nut, fixed up the truss rod, and slapped on Rotosounds.
Now, I play it more often than my Fender 5 String Jazz Bass.
Pickups are decent.
I'll be replacing them soon to make this bass better than it already is.
Action, Fit, & Finish
:
No Opinion
The action was perfect out of the box, IMO.
Pickups well adjusted.
Frets needed leveling.
Great liquid black finish with black pickguard, matching with black headstock + gold "Silvertone" logo.
VERY comfortable neck.
Reliability/Durability

Had it for over 2 years. Lasted LOTS of beatings.
Cord is crap. It's too short and unreliable.
Bass amp is GREAT. Very reliable practice amp.
Get new hardware if you can. ( Tuning keys, strap buttons)
The strap buttons are pretty durable, though.
I remember the wire from the electronics reaching the plug on the bass was detached and needed to be re-soldered.
I took it around during Halloween once and it took a few beatings while I was with it.
I got the electronics fixed after that and it's AMAZING.
Still "rock solid" .

I currently still have the amp and the bass. I bought a new strap, though the one they give you will probably last you 1 1/2 years.
I wish I left the thumb rest on it.
I would probably search for another P-bass since I have a MIM Fender Jazz aswell.
GREAT starter bass.
Replace/ get a few things fixed on the bass and it'll last you a lifetime.
A friend's father - a luthier fixed it up for me.
- new nut (I think)
- better strings
- re soldered broken electronics
He told me I should replace the tuning keys.
I will probably replace the electronics for Basslines someday.
Amazing bass overall.
I checked back at macys.com, but they don't have them any more.
Sears website has some in stock.
Any questions about this product, I'll be happy to answer them.
