Features : 9
5 String bass. Bolt on neck. 2 EMG soapbar Pickups with master volume control, pickup fader knob with detent and stacked emg preamp (treble on top, bass on bottom).
All in black. Neck is a bit duller in the back than the body as it is composite. Body is wood. Weight is good. Body has esy access for 2 9 volt batteries and it came with 2 hospital grade duracell batteries installed! Hardshell case with ample storage section for a strap and cable. Tuners are all doubel ball and work well. I chose 9 for features becasue it is pretty bread and buttere which is how I like it.

Sound : 10
Finally a good bass that suits my taste. Ive tried everything including a Parker Fly that I bought last week. If you like the crisp emg sound you'll love this guy. The stacked preamp is my favorite and I've installed it in some hohner jack Bass I've owned in the past. Very wide range of sounds. I play with my fingers but I plan on trying a pick again to get some of those great tones from the 80's such as LoverBoy.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Out of the box this bass was ready to go. It was tuned down a step ( 2 frets) but I assume that was fro travel. Action was perfect. i like it low and easy and this has it both. I bought the new stick when it came out what 2 years ago. Sent it right back as the action ans sound was terrible, this one was perfect.

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
Just got this gig a day ago and will gig with it tonight. I'll write back but I can't see any issues. I mbought a parker last week and it is already up for sale it was so bad.

Customer Support : No Opinion
To new.

Overall Rating : 10
Playing bass since 1070, you do the math I'm to old.
Hartke 3500 head
Hartke 2.5 cabinet
New Sansamp programmable DI (rocks)
Fender Jazz 5 string with EMG (1990 ish)
Telex Wireless
I chose this because I'm addicted to double ball bass guitars. Love the lighter bodies and fact that the neck is shorter.
