Four sring acoustic/electric bass with Volume,Bass,Treble,Mid controls.SUPER large, deep body give it surprising volume unplugged. The size can make it a little difficult to find a comfortable playing position.

Sound : 10
I was surprised when I plugged the bass in and started to play some blues tunes, sounds good, somewhere between an elctric and an acoustic.Very detailed and full sound. Then I replaced the battery which was almost dead and it gave it some serious gain.A soundhole feedback plug is highly suggested as it will feedback at band volume. As long as the snarl was there I thought I'd try some Who and Hendrix.Sounds great,no problem punching through. This may be my main for a while.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
Action fit and finish are nice enough considering this is a lower end Korean made bass.No problems, seems fairly solid.

Reliability/Durability : 7
I'm keeping an eye on the bridge for signs of lifting (very slight when I bought it).The plug is on the end of the bass inside the strap button so a right angle plug is in order.I will defintely gig with it
but it goes nowhere without the hardcase, too big and would probably not handle rough treatment well.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never had a reason to contact them.

Overall Rating : 9
This is my first ac/el bass and so far I like it.I've compared it to a few others and it's got a slight edge in unplugged volume on them.Very versatile,I think it could be used for most styles of music. If it was lost or stolen I would buy another.

This Acoustic Electric Bass was made in Korea. The top is Spruce laminate and the sides & back are Mahogany. It has a 34" scale Nato neck with a 1 5/8" nut and 17 frets clear of the body and another 5 accessible at the cutaway. The chrome enclosed tuners do a great job of holding the tuning. This huge but fast playing neck is set on a "Jumbo" body (and I do mean JUMBO). The electronics are great with a 3 band EQ and gain control.

The volume that this guitar puts out is incredible. Unplugged it can easily keep up with any acoustic 6-string. Plugged in... well just don't sit on your amp cab or the feedback will tear you up. :-0 It tends to be a little weaker on the low end but I think that's due to the fact that I haven't ever changed the strings.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 5
I bought it used and right off the bat had a real problem with fretbuzz on the e & a string in the lower register. A quick truss rod adjustment took care of that. The action is a little high now but when I change strings I'll check the bridge and probably lower it a little. The construction of the guitar is very good. The satin finish is a little foggy in places which is probably why it's marked AAA Second.

Reliability/Durability : 9
I've been playing it almost every weekend for about 6 months and It shows no sign of ever slowing down. I'ts my only bass and I trust it completely

never had to find out.

I've been thumpin' the bass for a little over a year, but I've played guitar for about 30 years. My first bass was a Epi Accu-bass and the feel is quite similar except for the 'jumbo' part. I like the sound better and the fact that I can play unplugged whenever I want is awesome. If I lost this unit I'd certainly get another one or maybe step up to an ElCapitan or a Taylor (I wish).
