This bass fits my musical style, but I think it's not fit too many others. I play it on a very basic Fender single 12" amp. I have it tuned F-B-E-A-D-G-C and the F rattles a bit on lower neck. The rest of stings play/feel great. The sound is nice and deep as any acoustic-electric bass shoud be, and the high C string has a nice feel too. I've never played it live or in a studio, but my buddies can keep up with it when we play around the house.

It wasn't set up too bad. I had to tune it, but overall it was okay. However, it's a 7 string that feels like it's on a five string neck. The strings are close together; making it hard to get used to and you often move two strings thinking it's only one. For a 7 stirng bass under $250, it looks awesome. The jet black finish looked great next to the abalone work. After more than 6 months, everything still works and looks great.

I would not use it live.
The hardware is cheap, but sturdy.
The finish is ultra nice and seems to be holding up to my clumsyness (I'v dinged it around my house and the finish doesn't show any nicks or scratches).
The strap buttons hold very well.
For having some fun, this bass is nice, but I'd keep it at home. I haven't had to adjust the truss rod and the neck is still very straight. No bowing.
This would be the fifth or sixth backup if I had to use it in a gig.

Every question I have asked has been answered . . . sort of. It seems like they don't give exact answers, they fumble around an answer. Overall, if you're clear about that you need to know, they are okay.
Warrenty? Not on this. They only offer a 3 day return window.

I've been playing for about six years now. I've consistantly owned and played a 4 string Ibanez. I've had a Rogue 5 string, Galveston 4 String (both electric and acoustic-electric), and I've played many 6 string basses owned by friends, this bass is the bottom of the line.
If this bass were stolen, broke or lost, I'd not replace it. It's not worth it when you can get a Galveston 6 or Douglas 6 or a Beice 5 for a lower price and slightly higher quality.
I must say I love the fretboard; a nice smooth surface. However, the roundwound string slightly dig into the woord and causes bad wear. In 10-15 years, it'll be worthless.
