I dont know when it was made. I'd say sometime in the 80's, in Japan. Its a 4-string with 22 frets. 2 Volume, 1 Tone, a toggle switch for the pickups, and a 2nd toggle switch which im not really sure what it does. It's got a really nice transparent finish and looks really good.

Sound : 8
I use this bass to play in a heavey metal band. I use the neck dual coil pickup as the single in the bridge sounds too thin. Its not noise at all and with the neck pickup you get a pretty nice full sound. My only problem with it is that its extremely neck heavy.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
I got it used dont know what the set-up was like from the factory, but now its not bad. Action is a little high but nothing too bad. The only problem i have with it is there is a chip on the back of the neck and when you play around it it feels weir, but thats just because i bought it used.

Reliability/Durability : 10
The hardware has lastesd this long i dont see it dying anytime soon. The finish is great and seems really tough. The strap buttons are solid but when I start gigging with it I'll replace them with straplocks. The bass is very solid.

Customer Support : No Opinion

Overall Rating : 10
This bass is great especially for the price I got it at, and it came with a hardshell case. It's well worth the money.
